I’m currently reading Night Watch, by Jayne Anne Phillips. The novel won the Pulitzer Prize in 2024 and is set in West Virginia around the time of and during the aftermath of the Civil War. It is told from the perspectives of multiple characters in the book. I’ve about halfway through it and really enjoying it.
