Out with the old, in with the new

My old Riccar served me well – I bought it when we returned from our honeymoon 27 years ago. Now, out with the old, in with the new!

My Sweet Gracie had some surgery

My sweet Gracie had surgery today to remove a tumor that was on her ankle.  The tumor has been sent to UGA to determine what it is.  I am hopeful it is benign.

UPDATE on 9/28/2017:  I heard back from the vet today.  The tumor is a cutaneous myxoma.  It is benign. I am so thankful!

Hitler’s Willing Executioners

Anyone want to read a book with me? This book has been on my personal reading list for several years and I think now is the time for me to finally read it.
